I started this oil painting as a practice of value and hues. It's definitely a new style I decided to experiment with just to see where it will take me. It turns out not to my fancy but it was a good try. I later went back to plop this hibiscus in the middle of no where. When I grew tired of the floating look I decided to fade the leaves and edges into the entire painting to create a union. Maybe it worked... maybe. Just maybe. It's just a 40*50 cm canvas anyway.
